ARTISAN GALLERIAS’ MISSION STATEMENT

Art should be an adventure for your soul. Art should move your spirit and leave you better than it found you. Art should impact your life, forever changing you, making your world from that moment forward louder, more exciting, and filled with richer, more vivid color.

Be happy. Be sad. Be amused. Be angered. But *be* something. Day to day life is a routine that often becomes a trial that must be endured. Our only hope is that into each day, a spark of that elusive “something” makes a welcome, if brief, appearance.

Something to feed our soul, caress our imagination, tickle our funny bone and remind us that we *live* our lives, not merely exist in them.

With each exhibit, each artist, and each individual work of art, we strive to make the Artisan Galleria Legacy Towers that “something” that feeds our souls.

Prepare to be inspired, enraged, enraptured and amused, but above all, preapre to find that “something,” and leave to see the world with a soul refilled from the fountain of life.

WHERE WE BEGAN… THE LOTA GALLERY

promo-shot-of-gallery_001-1.jpg

We started the Lota gallery in the Lota sim in January 2007. The artists that started with us were Gracie Kendal, Sinsaber Holgado, Marisela Bouchard, Rezago Kokorin, HannahMichelle Brower, elros Tuominen, Plurabelle Posthorn, Brie Talon, Xzavier Taov. It was landscaped by Buzzer Kyger, designed by Jordan Morgenrote and Al Stringfellow, and built by Al Stringfellow. The details and temp rezzing and building tips were given to Jordan by Muzicole Undertone. It was a really cozy gallery, and quite popular from the opening day, which featured a grid-wide scavenger hunt called WorldQuest.

THE LEGACY TOWERS at BELLATRIX

The Legacy Towers were opened in March 2007, with most of the artists moving from the Lota gallery to the towers. They were designed by Muzicole Undertone and Jordan Morgenrote, and built by Muzicole Undertone. It was a homage to the World Trade Center, and a very personal build to Jordan.
